I love Russian Dolls which bring back memories of when I was a little girl visiting family friends I would sneak upstairs into a bedroom and quietly play with their set.
So I really enjoyed this craft night, I didn’t get to finish my Russian Doll pin cushion and will post a completed picture once I do.
Oh and I also committed the worst sin I could for a craft night, I forgot to bake!! So no pictures if scrumy cakes this time I’m afraid.

The next craft night is on Monday 19th September, and we’re doing an intro to crochet session. For those who haven’t crocheted before there’ll be basic crochet tuition to hopefully enable you to do some basic stitches, and I’ll have a few patterns for if you already know how to crochet.
All materials are provided, and the cost is £2. I do have a load of crochet hooks but if you have one of your own it may be worth bringing it.

Hope you are all enjoying the Bank holiday weekend and are looking forward to another craft night
For Monday 5th of Septemeber the craft planned is to make Applique designs on Cotton Tote bags.
We will provide all materials for a cost of £3.
For those of you who have previosuly attended it will be lovely to see you again and if you have not been before please come along we are friendly, informal and offer cake and hot drinks.

Our intro to knitting night went well with the usual cheer, cake and my clumsy crafting. Well given that I haven’t knitted anything since I was 8 I think I did ok…
